How Lost Got Lost
A Look Back at How this Landmark TV Series Failed its Fans in The End

About Me

My name is John Rasor, and I'm a semi-retired computer repair guy known locally by my business monicker of Your Friendly Neighborhood Computer Guy...and I am very friendly indeed - That's me at Comic-Con 2010, above - I started the business to help people with their computers at reasonable prices - and, of course, to make a little money to subsidize semi-retirement.  I have built up a fairly decent clientele these days, and I enjoy the work and meeting new people.  I guess I am kind of a geek, but a very cool one, I hope - well, as cool as anyone with grandchildren can be these days.

I've been writing for the better part of 20 years now, but only last Christmas realized my dream of being published.  My first book, Roadkill, is a serial killer thriller about a guy who kills on the streets of LA and Orange County - with vehicles stolen based on the premise that mine is bigger than yours. It didn't do as well as I'd hoped, because not  that many people know about it yet - maybe this website will help change that.  But as a writer, you've got to keep going - so when I absolutely hated the ending of one of my all-time favorite shows, I couldn't stop the word flow until it was done.  I'm hoping that this is the one that will establish me as a writer, and have some people remember me fondly after I've gone on to that church where the Lost folks said goodbye.

Born and raised in the Los Angeles area,  I lived most of my life there, until my wife, Maggie-beth, and I  moved to Arizona to be nearer to our families.  I do miss LA now and then but Glendale, Arizona is our home now, and we both love it here.

As a native of LA,  I was an LA Rams fan, even after they moved to St. Louis.  I was still a big fan when Kurt Warner took the Rams to their first Super Bowl Victory in 2000, and finally gave up on them after Kurt left and they couldn't buy a win.  I was never a Cardinals fan, and when there was talk of bringing them to LA to replace the wayward Rams, I said no way.  But then, having moved to Arizona in 2006, I was delighted when the Cards picked him up.  It was a magnificent four years of the Cards and Kurt, and now I'm a Cardinals fan true and blue.  Kurt retired after last season, and we'll miss him dearly, but I now have high hopes for this team. We live only about ten miles from the stadium, and believe they can still build on what Kurt brought to the team and continue their winning ways.  A football fan? Why yes, I am - and Maggie-beth is, too.
